I am in the process of building a collection of natural history drawings. I very much admire the traditional illustrations in these books and want to replicate that feel but with additional elements. I am thinking of producing a natural history encyclopedia with a twist that makes them not so dry and dead but more witty and engaging to kids. This will take the form of an alphabet which may even be animated, this will be a long project that will hopefully form the basis of a masters.
Below are a snippet of some drawings I have been doing and some things I am looking at.
